Hold a valid broker, salesperson, or authorized public broker license issued by the Puerto Rico Department of State.
Be over 18 years old.
Have a good reputation.
Have not been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude.
Not engage in the sale, rental, promotion, or appraisal of real estate on their own or others’ behalf, outside the Board.
Commit in writing to comply with the Statutes, Code of Ethics, Regulations, and other rules of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the Puerto Rico Association of REALTORS® (PRRA), and the Bayamón Board of REALTORS® (BBR).
Successfully complete the Orientation Course and the Ethics Course for New Members as required by the Board.
Submit a completed membership application along with the initiation fee and applicable dues.

Be interviewed by the Membership Committee or the Board of Directors.
Be approved by the Board of Directors.
Take a solemn oath before the BBR membership.

Every new applicant will go through a screening process with local agencies such as the Department of State, D.A.C.O, and local authorities’ portal. Other restrictions apply. Subject to evaluation.

Local Level - $95 are prorated for new members, natural year (Jan-Dec).
$105 are prorated for new members, natural year (Jan-Dec); While the $5 is a fixed amount for the "Issues and Mobilization Committees".
National Level
National Level - fixed amount $45.00 consumer advertising campaign.
Investment $15 - Political donations are not deductible for income tax purposes. Donations to RPAC are voluntary and are used for political purposes. You may refuse to make a donation without being subject to retaliation, so the National Association of REALTORS® or any of its State Associations or local Boards cannot favor or disadvantage any member based on the amount contributed. 70% of each donation is used by the State PAC to support state and local political candidates. Until the state reaches its RPAC goal, 30% of the funds will be sent to the National RPAC to support federal candidates and will be charged against its limits, in accordance with United States Code, 2 USC 441a; Once the State PAC reaches its RPAC goal, you can choose to retain your entire gift to use to support state and local candidates.
